Dr. Ramona Vedia

Dr. Vedia has proudly served the South San Antonio ISD community for the past 12 years and is beginning her third year as Principal of Five Palms Elementary. She has previously served as a classroom teacher, math department head, and assistant principal, and she earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University.

A proud native of Laredo, Texas, Dr. Vedia is bilingual and passionate about serving diverse communities. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially supporting her teenage son who has autism. She leads with integrity, compassion, and high expectations to ensure every child at Five Palms has the opportunity to thrive.
